This collection of feature-length articles present some of the in-depth reporting I did while living in Tucson, Arizona. They were published by the Nogales International, an on-line, award-winning newspaper published twice a week in Nogales, Ariz. After reporting for these articles, among others, I was able to appreciate the unique position Nogales holds – it is a relatively small town which experiences all the benefits and troubles of a much larger city because it is located directly on the U.S.-Mexico border, across from Nogales, Sonora.
